Hon Dr Shane Reti: As Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology, I have no responsibility for any government departments. With regard to agencies, Crown entities and any other bodies under the Science, Innovation and Technology portfolio, I am advised that Earth Sciences New Zealand, PHF Science, and REANNZ have not entered into any contracts for communications, public relations, or reputation management services. The table attached provides the information available for the Bioeconomy Science Institute from its establishment on 1 July 2025. Callaghan Innovation has been unable to extract the relevant data and contract details within the time available, and so I do not believe it is in the public interest to provide this information.
