Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: Further to my answer to WPQ 9760 and 9770 (2026), I am advised that it is not in the public interest to provide the information being sought within the timeframe of a written parliamentary question, as it would require a substantial amount of time to both collate the information and undertake the necessary checks to ensure accuracy. Operating costs for ministerial offices are managed centrally by Ministerial Services. Funding for my ministerial office, including salaries, accommodation, travel, and operating expenses, is provided through the Support Services to Members of the Executive Multi Category Appropriation. Actual expenditure for the 2024/25 financial year and earlier years is publicly reported through the Department of Internal Affairs’ annual reports, which are available at: www.dia.govt.nz/Resource-material-Corporate-Publications-Annual-Reports Total costs for the current financial year will be published in due course as part of Vote Internal Affairs reporting, once the financial year has concluded and reporting processes are complete.
