10024 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: What contracts, if any, have been entered into by any department or entity for which the Minister is responsible with any of the following firms since 27 November 2023: McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, EY, Accenture, or any subsidiary or affiliate of those firms — listed by department or entity, supplier, contract value, contract start date, and the purpose of the engagement?
Rt Hon Winston Peters: I am advised that it is not possible for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade to provide a comprehensive response to this question within the timeframe for Written Questions. I am further advised that the Asia New Zealand Foundation has entered into no contracts of this nature.
Since 27 November 2023, Antarctica New Zealand has entered into several contracts with Deloitte, PwC, and KPMG. These include:
Deloitte Limited for Project Independent Quality Assurance for the Scott Base Redevelopment project (1 December 2025–27 February 2026; NZ$55,550);
Deloitte Limited for Risk Independent Quality Assurance (11 August 2025–5 September 2025; NZ$23,230);
Deloitte Limited for financial due diligence for procurements (3 March 2025–March 2026; NZ$15,655); and
Deloitte LLP for design of the IT and OT security architecture model (4 April 2024–24 May 2024; NZ$3,000).
Antarctica New Zealand also engaged PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory N.V. for financial due diligence of Wind Group B.V. (27 October 2025–14 November 2025; NZ$118,310), and KPMG for audit services (15 April 2025–30 June 2027; NZ$283,167).
I am advised that Antarctica New Zealand has had no contracts with McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, or EY since 27 November 2023.
