Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Health: How many contracts, broken down by dollar value and Health New Zealand Regional Division, if any, does the Compass Group or any of their associate brands such as Restaurant Associates, Medirest, ESS and Chartwells hold with Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. As the Member will be aware, the value of each contract is commercially sensitive. I do not consider it to be in the public interest to disclose these values. However, I am advised that Compass Group services the Auckland, Waitemata, Counties Manukau, Bay of Plenty, Tairawhiti, Taranaki, Wairarapa, Mid Central, Whanganui, South Canterbury, Southern, and Nelson districts.
