9983 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Prime Minister: What advice, reports or information, if any, broken down by date and title, has the Minister or their office received regarding Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policies and practices prior to 07 March 2025?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the Responsible Minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency is a departmental agency hosted by the DPMC. Since receiving my Ministerial Warrant on 27 November 2023 I have neither requested nor received advice from my officials on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policies and practices. I have not provided DPMC with any instructions, directions or advice to rollback, rescind or repeal any Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policies and practices.
