9968 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister for the Environment: What staff engagement, morale, or culture surveys, if any, have been conducted by any department or entity for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, listed by department or entity, date conducted, the organisation that administered the survey if external, and the overall engagement or satisfaction score reported?

Hon Penny Simmonds: Ministry for the Environment staff surveys, administered by internal staff using the Peakon platform, were conducted 2-24 March 2024, 18-29 November 2024, and 8-19 September 2025. The overall engagement score for all surveys was 6.9/10. Environmental Protection Authority engagement surveys, administered by internal staff using the Qualtrics platform, were conducted 11-22 March 2024, 23-14 March 2025 and 2-13 March 2026. The overall engagement scores were 72% in 2024, 75% in 2025 and the engagement score for the 2026 survey has not yet been published.
