Camilla Belich to the Minister of Customs: What staff engagement, morale, or culture surveys, if any, have been conducted by any department or entity for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, listed by department or entity, date conducted, the organisation that administered the survey if external, and the overall engagement or satisfaction score reported?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that, since 27 November 2023, Customs has not conducted any staff engagement, morale or culture surveys. Customs staff participated in the 2025 Te Taunaki Public Service Census, conducted by the Public Service Commission, with a staff response rate of 73 per cent.
