Camilla Belich to the Minister of Conservation: What staff engagement, morale, or culture surveys, if any, have been conducted by any department or entity for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, listed by department or entity, date conducted, the organisation that administered the survey if external, and the overall engagement or satisfaction score reported?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation advises me that, since 27 November 2023, it has conducted four employee experience surveys as set out in the Attachment. I am further advised that in March 2025, the Department of Conservation also participated in the Te Taunaki Public Census run by the Public Service Commission. The overall employee engagement score at that time was 79%.
