9935 (2024). Hon Peeni Henare to the Minister of Health: Does the Minister agree with his statement "I want to see IMPBs powered up to support the health outcomes," and if so, what, if any direction has he given health officials to power up Iwi-Māori Partnership Boards?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: Yes. I have told officials that I want Iwi-Māori Partnership Boards (IMPBs) to have a stronger voice in local decision making, powering up communities to advise, inform and shape the health system to work for them, alongside the needs of the wider community.
