9914 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the last quarter (October - December 2023) to conduct a ‘Current state health and disability data maturity sector assessment’ under ‘Horizon One’ of the Data and Information Strategy for Health and Disability: Roadmap 2021-2024?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that Health New Zealand has no plans to complete a sector-wide data maturity assessment. I am further advised that subsequent to the October - December 2023 quarter, Health NZ started a data analytics maturity assessment specific to its own data.
