9901 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the last quarter (October - December 2023) to develop ‘Compliance with minimum data requirements for all new contracts and procurement’ under ‘Horizon Two’ of the Data and Information Strategy for Health and Disability: Roadmap 2021-2024?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised during the October - December 2023 quarter, planning was underway to incorporate HISO-endorsed standards in procurement contract templates and system requirements. Health New Zealand also identified where these standards will be applicable (certain generic ICT products and services do not contain or influence health information/data).
