9881 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Further to WPQ 5644, what progress, if any, has been made in the last quarter (October - December 2023) on health promotion work programmes concerning 'Health Resources'?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that in the October - December 2023 quarter, the health promotion work programme concerning 'Health Resources' progressed several initiatives. These included: • Updating the immunisation content in the Well Child book • Introducing a Tok Pisin translated resource • Adapting resources for web-only formats • Supporting cervical screening initiatives • Adding new immunisation and HPV screening resources (including those tailored for the rainbow community) to HealthEd.govt.nz I am further advised that during the October - December 2023 quarter there were 317,580 HealthEd resources ordered across 1,838 unique orders, indicating strong demand for their resources.
