9873 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Further to reply 7287(2024), when were the last nation-wide vacancy figures for vacant positions within Te Whatu Ora collated, if at all, and how frequently is this information updated?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that Health New Zealand collects District vacancy data through its Health Workforce Information Programme (HWIP) on a quarterly basis, with the December 2023 quarterly data being the most recent available.
