Hon Judith Collins: I am advised the Public Service Commission does not record the hourly rate of its contractor or consultant engagements in its contracts register. Instead, the register records the maximum value payable under the contract. Each year, the Commission (along with other Public Service departments and departmental agencies) are required to report on the contractors they have used, including the total sum paid and a description of the services provided, through Select Committee Estimates questions.
