Camilla Belich to the Minister for Ethnic Communities: What contractor or consultant engagements, if any, are currently active across any department or entity for which the Minister is responsible, where the individual contractor or consultant is being paid at a rate exceeding $200 per hour, listed by department or entity, role or engagement description, daily or hourly rate, and contract start date?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that the Ministry for Ethnic Communities currently has two active contracts where the hourly rates exceed $200 per hour. This is for two part-time consultants who are supporting the establishment of a Leadership Council in support of the Harmony Accord signed by Jewish and Muslim community in July 2025. One contract commenced on 29/09/25 and the hourly rate is $250 per hour, and the second contract commenced on 22/01/26 and the hourly rate is $375 per hour.
