9763 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Further to Written Parliamentary Question 8390 (2024), why does the table not include the lawyer vacancies in Southland and Gisborne, reported in the Otago Daily Times on 24 April 2024?

Hon Karen Chhour: WPQ 8390 (2024) asked for the number of vacant roles in Oranga Tamariki's legal department immediately prior to the recruitment pause. I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that the roles provided in my response to WPQ 8390 (2024) were as at 8 November 2023 when the recruitment pause was announced. The positions in Southland and Gisborne were not open vacancies in the recruitment system at 8 November 2023.
