9692 (2024). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: How much, if anything, are each of the three people appointed to the review team to review Kāinga Ora being paid and how is that pay calculated?

Hon Chris Bishop: Sir Bill English’s daily pay rate for his review work is $2,500 + GST. Simon Allen and Ceinwen McNeil’s daily pay rates are $2,165 + GST respectively. The reviewers are also reimbursed for their actual and reasonable expenses at cost. The pay was calculated based on advice from the Public Service Commission and others about what would constitute a reasonable rate given the nature of the review and skills and experience of the reviewers.
