9664 (2025). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Further to Reply 13287, in which universities will the associate psychologist training programme commence, and when?

Hon Matt Doocey: On 17 March I announced that the University of Canterbury was awarded funding for the new associate psychologist training programme. From 2026 the first cohort of students will begin their studies. A further tertiary provider is expected to be confirmed in due course.
