Camilla Belich to the Minister of Housing: What contractor or consultant engagements, if any, are currently active across any department or entity for which the Minister is responsible, where the individual contractor or consultant is being paid at a rate exceeding $200 per hour, listed by department or entity, role or engagement description, daily or hourly rate, and contract start date?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that providing the Member with this information would require a considerable amount of time to collate. Therefore, in accordance with Speaker’s ruling 210/6, I consider that the time and expense of answering the Member’s question is not in the public interest. However, I can confirm that information on contractors and consultants used by Kāinga Ora and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has previously been provided in its responses to Annual Reviews, which are publicly available on Parliament’s website. This is also my response to question 10035 (2026).
