Hon Erica Stanford: The information sought by the Member is not collated by the Ministry of Education in a way that is readily reportable in the timeframe available to respond to written parliamentary questions. I am advised by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority that, since 27 November 2023, the total cost of redundancy payments for 39 disestablished positions that resulted in redundancy is $1,659,612.63. I am advised by Education New Zealand that, since 27 November 2023, the total cost of redundancy payments for 17 disestablished positions is $633,815. I am advised by the Education Review Office that, since 27 November 2023, the total cost of redundancy payments is $611,600.
