Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) currently has the following contractor engagements where the hourly rate exceeds $200: • Role A: $279.67 per hour • Role B: $250.00 per hour • Role C: $210.00 per hour. With respect to consultants, the information is not held centrally, or collated by the Ministry of Education in a way that is readily reportable in the timeframe available to respond to written parliamentary questions. I am advised that the New Zealand Qualifications Authority has the following consultants who are working within consulting firms who are paid at a rate exceeding $200 per hour: • Role A: $250 per hour • Role B: $250 per hour • Role C: $250 per hour • Role D: $245 per hour. For privacy reasons, information relating to roles and start dates are not provided. I am advised that Education New Zealand and the Education Review Office have no current contractor or consultant engagements paid at a rate exceeding $200 per hour.
