Hon Simon Watts: Corrected reply: I refer the Member to the attached Table that provides the international travel undertaken by Ministry for the Environment staff based my office since November 2023. 7-15 December 2023 UAE, COP28 to lead New Zealand’s delegation to the United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP28) and meet with climate action stakeholders 14-20 April 2024 Singapore, Thailand Philippines Accompanied PM Luxon to engage with priority partners in Southeast Asia 12-17 May 2024 Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, Tuvalu Travelled with Minister Peters and Minister Reti to engage with Pacific partners 4-6 June 2024 Singapore Travel to sign the IPEF Clean Economy Agreement and attend the IPEF Investor Forum and Ministerial Meeting, travelled with Minister McClay 20 -24 July 2024 China travel to attend the 8th Ministerial meeting on Climate Action (MoCA) in Wuhan, China from Saturday 20 July to Wednesday 24 July.
