9550 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Statistics: What property leases, if any, have been entered into, renewed, or exited by any department or entity for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, listed by department or entity, address, annual rent, lease term, and whether the decision to enter, renew, or exit was part of a broader office consolidation programme?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by Stats NZ that in November 2024 it entered into a six-year lease for Level 13, 191 Queen Street, Auckland, with an annual lease cost of $247,036. This change was part of a consolidation program across Stats NZ. On 30 December 2024, Stats NZ exited a lease at 80 Greys Avenue, Auckland. The site had an annual lease cost of $858,480.
