9466 (2024). Hon Peeni Henare to the Associate Minister of Health: As of May 1, 2024, what actions, if any, has the Minister taken to reduce rates of smoking since the Government repealed the Smokefree Environments and Regulated Products (Smoked Tobacco) Amendment Act?

Hon Casey Costello: In addition to the ongoing operation of effective stop smoking services across the country, I am currently considering opportunities to develop further initiatives targeted to those most in need, and providing smokers with a wider range of tools to support them in ways that work for them.
