9436 (2024). Ingrid Leary to the Minister of Health: On what date did he first read the Ministry of Health’s consultation document for staff provided on 2 April 2024?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that my office was provided with a courtesy hard copy of the Ministry of Health's proposal change on 2 April 2024 but was not consulted on its contents. The Ministry has acknowledged that Ministers were not sufficiently briefed. I reviewed the document in detail afterwards.
