9416 (2024). Ingrid Leary to the Minister of Health: Did his office pass on a copy of the Ministry of Health’s consultation document for staff provided on 2 April 2024 to the office of the Minister of Mental Health if not, why not?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: Yes. My Office shared a copy on 4 April 2024. The Ministry of Health also provided a copy to Minister Doocey's Office on 4 April 2024. The Ministry has acknowledged that Ministers were not sufficiently briefed.
