9385 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Māori Development: What property leases, if any, have been entered into, renewed, or exited by any department or entity for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, listed by department or entity, address, annual rent, lease term, and whether the decision to enter, renew, or exit was part of a broader office consolidation programme?
Hon Tama Potaka: I refer the Member to the evidence provided by Te Puni Kōkiri to Māori Affairs Select Committee during its 2023/24 Annual Review, published on the Parliament website Questions 19 and 20 ( https://www3.parliament.nz/en/pb/sc/submissions-and-advice/document/54SCMAOC_EVI_26cef304-d16e-499e-9e77-08dcf4828bfe_MAOC1548/te-puni-k%C5%8Dkiri-responses-to-written-questions-1-210). I am advised by Te Puni Kōkiri that since 27 November 2023 it has renewed office leases in New Plymouth, Kaikohe, Nelson, Tauranga, Porirua and Whangārei; relocated offices in Invercargill, Wellington, Whakatane; and exited the office in Ruatoria. The relocated offices were part of a consolidated work programme.
