Rt Hon Winston Peters: The following meetings, conferences, and staff events costing more than NZ$10,000 have been held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade since 27 November 2023. These events relate to internal conferences and seminars for staff and include Heads of Mission meetings for: Europe (Brussels, May 2024; 18 attendees; NZ$34,850). The Middle East and Africa (Abu Dhabi, June 2024; 14 attendees; NZ$23,377; and Ankara, November 2025; 13 attendees; NZ$16,000). South and South‑East Asia (Bangkok, April 2024; 16 attendees; NZ$53,345) The Americas (Washington DC, March 2026; 15 attendees; NZ$50,589). MFAT also held a Multilateral and Legal Affairs Group leadership event at Te Tikanga Marae, Halcombe (November 2023; 14 attendees; NZ$34,850), and a combined Heads of Mission and Heads of Post meeting in Wellington and Auckland (June 2025; 79 attendees; NZ$430,914). For the Asia New Zealand Foundation and Antarctica New Zealand, the answer is nil.
