Hon Brooke van Velden: The Department of Internal Affairs is continuing to upgrade the Digital Child Exploitation Filter where practicable and Internet Service Providers in New Zealand are taking steps to prevent access to this content, such as Spark recently implementing the Internet Watch Foundation’s filter which is updated regularly to block more than 6,000 URLs hosting this material.
