9311 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Defence: What technology or software systems, if any, used by any department or entity for which the Minister is responsible have been identified as end-of-life, unsupported, or requiring urgent replacement since 27 November 2023, listed by department or entity, system name, purpose, and estimated replacement cost?

Hon Judith Collins: Since 27 November 2023, the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) has identified several legacy technology components that are at, or approaching, end of life or are no longer supported by the vendor. These systems are being progressively retired and replaced through approved programmes such as Enterprise Productivity Phases One and Two, Enterprise Cloud, Enterprise Connectivity, and the Application Migration project. Defence does not comment publicly on detailed vulnerabilities as disclosure of such information could increase risks to Defence networks and operations.
