Camilla Belich to the Minister for Children: What property leases, if any, have been entered into, renewed, or exited by any department or entity for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, listed by department or entity, address, annual rent, lease term, and whether the decision to enter, renew, or exit was part of a broader office consolidation programme?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that since 27 November 2023: • Thirteen (13) new Front Line Office leases have been entered into, replacing old leases. • Twenty-seven (27) existing leases were renewed. • Ten (10) leases were exited. I am further advised four (4) of the leases exited and four (4) of the leases renewed related to a broader office consolidation programme. Further details regarding these leases are commercially sensitive, therefore as per Speakers' Ruling 199-6 it is not in the public interest to provide this information.
