Hon Penny Simmonds: Te Pūkenga continues to undertake substantial work to improve the financial viability of its former institute of technology and polytechnic (ITP) business divisions. As part of this work, each business division’s course offering has been reviewed. The Tertiary Education Commission is aware some business divisions have already made some programme changes, and that more may be made. However, these are the types of operational governance decisions tertiary education organisations must take on a regular basis and as such are the responsibility of Te Pūkenga.
