9247 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How many new positions within Te Whatu Ora, if any, are being sought through business cases currently under consideration, by professional group (Nursing, Senior Medical Officer, Resident Medical Officers etc) as at 19 April 2024?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that business cases seeking new positions are managed at a local level by individual services and Group Directors of Operations within Health New Zealand. I am further advised that Health NZ does not hold a central record of this information.
