9229 (2024). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Associate Minister of Housing: How many households visiting the Hornby MSD Service Centre, if any, indicated they were homeless at the time of lodging a housing application between November 2023 and 22 April 2024, broken down by month?

Hon Tama Potaka: I refer the Member to the attached table, which provides the number of clients on the Public Housing Register registered with the Hornby Service Centre as at end of month from 1 November 2023 to 31 March 2024, by type of accommodation, and register type. When an applicant completes a Public Housing Register application staff record the type of accommodation the client is currently staying in. Information is updated when MSD is made aware of a change in circumstances. The applicant’s type of accommodation is based on the data held at the date of reporting.
