9227 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Justice: Is the Minister confident that all of the gangs in the list of Specified Gangs in schedule 2 of the Gangs Legislation Amendment Bill are active organisations; if not why is he including some organisations which are defunct?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I understand that this is a matter the Select Committee is actively considering and anticipate receiving further advice on this matter shortly.
