9195 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister for Building and Construction: What percentage of New Zealand's GDP is from the construction and building sector for the year ending February 2025 compared with the year ending February 2024?

Hon Chris Penk: StatsNZ release quarterly GDP data, and so this cannot be isolated for a year ending February. For the year ending March 2024, the construction and building sector contributed 6.3% of New Zealand's GDP (see Gross domestic product: March 2024 quarter | Stats NZ).
