Hon Penny Simmonds: My office and I seek advice and information from officials through a variety of mechanisms including, formal commissioning, officials’ meetings, phone calls and emails. I do not maintain a central register of every request for advice, reports, briefings, aide memoires, documentation or information sought from officials and do not consider that it is in the public interest to do so. My office does track formal advice received by my office from officials and I regularly release this information in response to written parliamentary questions.
