9105 (2026). Reuben Davidson to the Minister for Media and Communications: Has the Minister had any discussions regarding editorial or broadcast content with the board of Television New Zealand (TVNZ); if so, what specific matters were discussed, and on what dates?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: In my 2026 Letter of Expectations, I reinforced to the Board of TVNZ the need to focus on building and maintaining public trust by ensuring content is accurate, reliable and balanced. This has been reflected in conversations I have had with the board from time to time over the past year.
