9101 (2026). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: Was Te Akatea consulted with regarding the new Education Review Office review system prior to the announcement on 17 March 2026; if not, why not?

Hon Erica Stanford: Corrected reply: I am advised that the Education Review Office (ERO) has an ongoing relationship with Te Akatea, with regular engagement to discuss relevant items on ERO's work programme. As part of their programme of regular engagement, I am advised ERO and Te Akatea have agreed to discuss the new school report more fully following the development of additional components particularly of interest of Te Akatea.
