9055 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: How many full-time equivalent staff departed Kāinga Ora each calendar month since January 2020, broken down by regional office and by whether the departure was voluntary or involuntary?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that providing the Member with this information requested would require a considerable amount of time to collate, including manual extraction and validation of historical workforce data across multiple regions and time periods. Therefore, in accordance with Speaker’s ruling 210/6, I consider that the time and expense of answering the Member’s question is not in the public interest. This is also my response to WPQ 9056 (2026).
