9046 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Disability Issues: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies for which savings have been identified resulting from the Government’s directive to reduce expenditure in the public service, what demographic data is being collected about the number of staff being made redundant, if any?
Hon Louise Upston: I am advised Whaikaha – Ministry of Disabled People is not planning to disestablish any roles, as it has not yet filled its organisational structure, and has no plans for redundancies.
