8980 (2024). Shanan Halbert to the Minister of Health: What advice, updates or communications, if any, has the Minister received on staffing and recruitment for the Tōtara Haumaru facility at North Shore hospital, by date and title?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I have not received any written briefings on staffing and recruitment for Totara Haumaru. However, I often receive updates on progress during weekly officials’ meetings, and through the Health New Zealand Weekly Report. That includes advice that some recruitment has already commenced and that it will accelerate in the coming weeks as staffing numbers are finalised.
