8961 (2024). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery: What actions, if any, has the Minister taken to ensure that ‘credible savings options’, or any other cost-saving measures at the National Emergency Management Agency, don’t impact frontline services?

Hon Mark Mitchell: It is my expectation to be updated on any significant implications within my portfolio responsibilities as Minister. However, agencies’ cost-savings plans are the responsibility of the chief executive and are subject to Budget decisions which remain confidential until publicly released.
