8953 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister for Building and Construction: What percentage, if any, of construction sites in New Zealand are currently using Building Information Modelling (BIM), compared with 2014 and 2021?

Hon Chris Penk: This data has not been collated since the NZ BIM Survey 2021. The 2021 NZ BIM Survey showed that the use of Building Information Modelling on projects grew from 34 per cent in 2014, to 70 per cent in 2021.
