Camilla Belich to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery: Is the Minister confident that, as per the Report of the Government Inquiry into the Response to the North Island Severe Weather Events, an ‘increase command and control capability in emergency management governance, leadership, and controller roles’ can be achieved at the National Emergency Management Agency, considering that department’s efforts to identify and develop ‘credible savings options’ will draw from existing resources, which are currently less than those recommended in the report?
