Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Conservation: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies for which savings have been identified resulting from the Government’s directive to reduce expenditure in the public service, what demographic data is being collected about the number of staff being made redundant, if any?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised that these decisions are the responsibility of the Director-General of the Department of Conservation and are still to be finalised, and that information about affected staff cannot be compiled until the Management of Change process is completed.
