8921 (2024). Hon Peeni Henare to the Minister for Children: What advice, if any, has the Minister seen between 1 April, and 24 April, 2024 regarding Waitangi Tribunal summons issued to the Minister for Children?

Hon Karen Chhour: Any advice that I have seen between 1 and 24 April 2024 regarding this matter is subject to legal professional privilege. Additionally, this matter is awaiting judgment by the Court of Appeal. Standing Order 116 prohibits reference in questions to matters under adjudication before the courts, subject to the Speaker’s discretion.
