8914 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Associate Minister of Finance: Has EQC / Toka Tū Ake made ex-gratia payments where homeowners have made a claim of negligent scoping of damage and/or negligent repairs in respect of damage caused in the Canterbury Earthquake Sequence?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised that the Earthquake Commission Toka Tū Ake has settled some potential negligence claims in relation to alleged defective work and/or missed damage raised by homeowners.
