8896 (2026). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: How many, if any, workplace fatalities were reported to WorkSafe during the week of March 9th 2026?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that WorkSafe New Zealand received two fatality notifications between 9 and 15 March 2026. These notifications are being assessed to determine if they are a result of injury from work.
