8880 (2024). Cushla Tangaere-Manuel to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery: How much did the Minister’s relevant Ministries, Agencies and Departments spend on contractors and consultants between 8 April 2024 to 21 April 2024 by organisation?
Hon Mark Mitchell: The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency located within the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). DPMC hosts the functional Chief Executive, Cyclone Recovery through a Cyclone Recovery Unit (CRU), a business unit of DPMC. In my capacity as the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery I am not a Responsible Minister, the Prime Minister is the Responsible Minister for DPMC.
Aggregated data on contractors and consultants’ expenditure for all public sector agencies including DPMC and NEMA is published at 6 monthly intervals by the Public Service Commission. The website is set out below:
